Milt Walker, P. Eng. PMP - Director of Design & Construction

Milt Walker graduated with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1973. He has over 34 years experience as a practicing consulting engineer in the city of Regina.

Milt has provided management services to many large projects including major private and institutional buildings, retail malls, stores and light industrial projects. He has been retained as an expert consultant in the completion of distressed projects by insurance companies. He has also provided both expert structural engineering services to a major errors and omissions insurance provider and expert testimony services during construction contract litigation.

Milt has served as the Prime Consultant responsible for the technical direction of the design teams for McCallum Hill Centre Tower II, Crown Life Head Office Building, and major renovations to SGI Head Office Building.

Milt has also provided professional structural engineering services for numerous major projects including the SGI Head Office Building and the McCallum Hill Tower I. Milt has an extensive technical knowledge of building components and systems as well as the building design process.

As an integral part of Century West Development Corporation, Milt's key responsibilities include review and management of due diligence on property acquisitions, risk management and conceptual project design.

Milt has effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. He is an experienced manager of both design and construction personnel. Milt is a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute.
